Embracing the Divine

The Auspicious 108 Names of Lord Ganesha

  • In our tradition of Sanatana Dharma, the number 108 is held in reverence, embodying the totality of existence. Lord Ganesha, the deity of intellect and the remover of obstacles, is honored through his 108 names, each signifying his divine attributes. These names guide the faithful towards spiritual prosperity and enlightenment.

  • There are 108 sacred points in the body according to some traditions in yoga, and it is believed that there are 108 energy lines converging to form the heart chakra.

  • The distance between the Earth and the Sun is approximately 108 times the Sun's diameter. The distance between the Earth and the Moon is about 108 times the Moon's diameter.

why $1,116?

The Divine Significance of Your Contribution

  • In numerology, numbers are often reduced to their single-digit sums to find symbolic meanings. For $1116, when you add the digits (1+1+1+6), the sum is 9. The number 9 in many spiritual and numerological contexts represents completion and fulfillment. It is considered a powerful number because it is the highest single-digit number.

  • The number 108 is highly revered in Hinduism, as previously discussed, representing the universe and a complete cycle in cosmic terms. The sum of the digits of $1116 equating to 9 can symbolically connect to 108 because 9 times 12 equals 108, linking it to the complete set of celestial houses and signs in Vedic astrology.

  • “16” has a special significance in Hindu Sanatan dharma representing 16 Sanskars of human life and 16 steps of traditional Hindu worship (shodasha –upachara). Thus, a typical donation of 116 and 1116 is considered to have a deeper divine significance than a round figure of 100 or 1000.

Embrace the Power of Sacred Giving

A Path to Healing Ourselves and Each Other

In the grand tapestry of spiritual practice, every action resonates with deeper meaning. By aligning your generous gift with the sacred numerology of 108 and Hindu Sanatana Dharma, offering $1116—a number whose digits sum to the auspicious 9—transforms your contribution into a profound act of spiritual resonance. This not only multiplies blessings, prosperity, and spiritual merit for both the giver and the recipient but also echoes the eternal cosmic rhythm, amplifying our shared path toward enlightenment and universal harmony.
